For the past 27 years Jack has been exploring the waters of Discovery Passage and Johnstone Strait. It is an area of incredible beauty and home to some of the most amazing creatures on earth. Jack wants to share with you and your families, Pacific White-Sided Dolphin, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Bald Eagles and of course the magnificent Orca. Jack has 1000's of hours of Zodiac ecperience traveling to destinations such Telegraph Cove and Alert Bay on daily Whale Watching expeditions, a round trip distance of over 200 miles. Places such as Quadra Island, Cortez, Marina, Hernando, Savery, Sonora, Stuart, Maurelle, Thurlow, and Hardwick Islands became what is called his "back yard". Jack has a Bachelor of Education, University of Victoria and Majors in Outdoor Education & Physical Education. He also has Professional Development / Training, MED 3A - Marine Emergency Duties (current), Emergency First Aid- Industry, BC (current), CPR Certification Level A & C (current), Naturalist Certification, University of Victoria and a VHF Radio Operators License (current). |

Jennifer's love for the outdoors and working with people provide her with the desire to ensure that she provides our guests with outstanding experiences. Jen has been a leader, programmer and manager within the outdoor recreation and adventure-based tourism field for 15 years and has gained experience and respect for the ocean and its wonder through a variety of experiences; 4 years of which she has the privilege of guiding, in the most spectacular place in the world... here!!! The Discovery Islands and Johnstone Strait. Jen also has extensive experience facilitating recreation and leadership based programs along with a strong educational background. She loves being on the water and wants to be able to provide her guests with the opportunity to have an experience of a lifetime. Jennifer has an MA in leadership and training from Royal Roads University, a B.SC degree in natural resources management for the University of Northern British Columbia, a MED 3 A Marine Emergency duties, VHF radio operators license, emergency first aid certificates, CPR certification, Project Wild education and Canadian Outdoor Leadership training. |

Aaron was born and raised locally, beginning his experiences on the water at an early age. For the past ten years he has spent the spring and summer seasons as a wildlife naturalist and adventure guide in and around the waters of the Discovery Islands and the mainland inlets. Trained ten years ago by "Hurricane Jack" at Painters Lodge, Aaron has developed a reputation in our area as one of the premier wildlife guides, known for his extensive knowledge, excellent skills as a mariner, and his entertaining manner with his guests. In the past two years he has also had the opportunity to explore similar passions during the winter months, working as a mariner aboard private yachts, traveling to such places as Panama, the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand,and the Mediterranean. Traveling and working with people from many different parts of the globe has allowed him to realized that Campbell River has the scenic beauty and wildlife opportunities that are the envy of the world. Aaron looks forward to sharing his knowledge and expertise with you when you arrive in Campbell River. Aaron training and qualification include; Marine Fire Fighting, Marine First Aid, Marine Sea Survival, Restricted Operators Certificate, Restricted Radio License, Small Watercraft Certificate, Naturalist Interpretation Certificate as well a Pilots License. |
